The scheme launched by Odisha Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment Minister is aimed at rewarding farmers who have developed and used innovative agriculture equipment that elevates the process of establishing agro-industries and that results in providing subsidies. Under this scheme, the Government rewards 101 farmers with the inclusion of 11 farmers at the State level and 90 farmers at the district level, every year with a cash reward for their innovative tools that are used for farming.The top three farmers will be given financial assistance of Rs. 2 lakh, Rs. 1.5 lakh and Rs. 1 lakh respectively. All other selected farmers will get financial aid of Rs. 15,000 under the scheme.
